Attractions

The Gleneagles Estate lies in a rural location about one mile to the south-east of the market town of Auchterarder and adjacent to the A9 (T) Edinburgh/Glasgow to Inverness road. The major centre of Perth lies approximately sixteen miles to the north of the property with access to the Highlands of Scotland beyond. The major cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow to the south are both within easy driving distance.

For the holidaymaker the Highlands of Scotland offer endless surprises and delights, including numerous salmon rivers, beautiful lochs, mountains and heather-clad hills to satisfy the most discerning walkers and explorers. There is good skiing at Glenshee (about an hour away). At Gleneagles itself you can try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, falconry, off-road driving, and riding at the equestrian centre and of course, the golf is legendary.
